Enflick, Inc. today announced the closing of a US $Subscriber content million seed round of financing led by Freestyle Capital Fund.
Other participants included Menlo Talent Fund, Menlo Ventures’ seed program; Troy Carter, manager for multi-platinum Grammy award winner Lady Gaga; and Scooter Braun, manager for Justin Bieber.
Enflick intends to use proceeds to further its technology innovation and focus on developing and delivering solutions that further enhance and transform interpersonal connectivity.
Enflick was co-founded by Jon Lerner (CTO) and Derek Ting (CEO). Its products include TextNow, offering unlimited free texting on iPod, iPad, and iPhone, and PingChat!, a cross-platform instant messaging platform for smartphones.
