DVS Sciences, Inc., an analytical equipment and reagents development company, has secured a tranched US $14.6 million Series A round of financing led by 5AM Ventures with participation from Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV), Pfizer Venture Investments (PVI), and Roche Finance Ltd.
In conjunction with the financing, Andrew J. Schwab, founder and Managing Partner of 5AM Ventures, and Willaim (Bill) Burkoth, Senior Director of Pfizer Ventures, have joined DVS’ board of directors.
Markham, Ontario DVS Sciences, a University of Toronto spinoff, was seed funded by The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) .
