Blueprint Hires Two former PlateSpin Executives

Blueprint Software Systems Inc., a provider of requirements definition and management software, has hired Israel Ben-Ishai as Senior Vice President of Engineering, and John Stetic as Senior Vice President of Product Management. Before joining Blueprint, Israel Ben-Ishai was Vice President of Engineering for the Systems Management Product Group at Novell, Inc. (NASDAQ: NOVL). Prior to that, Ben-Ishai was Vice President of Product Development at PlateSpin Ltd., a venture-backed provider of unified workload lifecycle management solutions for the enterprise datacentre.

PlateSpin was acquired by Novell in March 2008 for US $Subscriber content million.

John Stetic also joins Blueprint from Novell where he was Vice President of Product Management. Prior to Novell, John was a founder and Senior Director of Products and Solutions at PlateSpin.

Blueprint Software Systems, formerly Sofea Inc., is backed by Axis Investment Fund/NorthStar Bancorp, The Walsingham Fund, BDC Venture Capital, and GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd.
